Coming to campus INSPÉ Rennes

By train, we recommend you book your train tickets on SNCF connect and stop at Rennes station.

From the train station, you can:

• take metro line A (direction Kennedy) and exit at "Anatole France" station, then walk for 10 minutes. Total travel time: 14 minutes
• take the Bus N°12 (in front of the Train Station), direction "Villejeant U", get off at the "Lenoir bus" sto, walk 2 minutes. Total travel time: 16 minutes
  
• take bus C1 (in front of the Train Station) direction "Saint-Gégoire", get off at the "Pierre Legrand" bus stop and walk for 3 minutes. Total travel time: 22 minutes

Moving around Rennes

Metro and bus: the STAR network

To get around quickly, Rennes Métropole has set up STAR, a major public transport network. The metro line crosses the city in less than 20 minutes and takes you very close to campus INSPÉ Rennes
(metro and bus stops are located not far from the INSPÉ Rennes campus), while buses cover both Rennes and neighboring towns.

Two night bus routes run from Thursday evening to Sunday morning.

Cycling

Visitors to Rennes can also opt to travel by bike. STAR is Rennes Métropole's bike-sharing service. Bikes are at your disposal 24/7. 55 stations and 650 bikes are at your disposal, most of them near a metro station, bus stop or SNCF train station. You borrow a bike from the station of your choice and drop it off at any other, depending on your route. The service is accessible at pay stations by credit card. You join for 1h, 24h or a year... and the first hour of use is free.
